First off, thanks for helping us at the trial on Sunday. It really means a lot to me that you care enough to take the time to help us. It makes me think that Shelby & I can be really good someday; it helps that we have such a great trainer!
I know that when I was first looking for agility clubs to train with, I thought it was going to be a pain to drive all the way to Rhome from Marietta (OK) but, Debbie, it's so worth it!!! We have learned so much, and I can't wait to keep coming to class to learn more.
Thanks again for teaching us so much!

I just want to take a minute to thank you for your wonderful approach to the Foundation & Beginners Agility Classes. The sessions are so great. You always seem to know what each of the dog's needs at any particular time. Our group is so happy and is working so well. We have a long way to go, but we are surely moving at a good clip.
Thank you again for your excellent teaching and insight. You are a treasure.

I'll definitely be continuing on with you as long as you will have us! I have never, and I mean never, had so much fun! You are right, agility is addicting! Thanks for making my addiction such a wonderful one.
Take care,

I definitely want to keep working with Indy because I think she really likes it and I can see a big difference in her confidence. Everyone in our class has been so great working with her to get over her shyness. They are a great group.
Thanks for creating such a positive place to come work my dog.

. . .Thanks again for all your help, I am so glad to have found PAWS. You, Hannelore, Anne, Nancy, Victoria and everyone else there are just so kind and generous - you genuinely love dogs and it shows. Thanks for being there.

Thank you Debbie! I'd like to say THANK YOU to you for providing us with a place like PAWS, where we can train our dogs the way they deserve to be trained, have fun and learn from someone as knowledgeable and compassionate as yourself. PAWS is really a great place, and you and your instructors do an amazing job.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you – and your excellent assistants – for your time and patience with Lacy. Lacy came to me about a year and half ago from Wendy McQuiston, the rescue coordinator for the DFW Dachshund club. Wendy thought that Lacy probably should be euthanized, because she was “kooky”. But she wanted to give her a chance, so she sent her to me. With help from Trish Attwood, and several obedience classes from her – Lacy made quite a bit of progress but still had a ways to go. It was Trish, and also Cindi Todd who suggested trying agility. I am amazed at the improvement this eight week class has made in this dog. Not only has she actually learned to negotiate the obstacles, she is calmer, friendlier and more relaxed. She greets people who come to the house enthusiastically and hardly ever displays fearful behavior with new people. We are looking forward to continuing agility classes, and hope at some point competition might be an option. But even if not, the most important goal for us has been realized – making this dog a better socialized, happier animal.

I just wanted to let you know that your insight into Kirby's problem has made a world of difference. I haven't seen him this excited to do agility in a really long time. Last night Pete worked with him and he did a sequence of 14 jumps without any hesitation at all!! I think I'm going to work with him a little bit too just to keep this new level of motivation up. His weave poles are coming along nicely too. Just think, a couple of months ago Kirby wouldn't even come outside if he thought you were even going near the agility equipment, and now he's excited when we get the treats out and he runs outside and the last two nights he just runs right outside and through the tire jump before you and even figure out what you want to do with him. Anyway just wanted to let you know that you really worked a miracle on Kirby and it's great to see him having fun again!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all your excellent training and most of all, your encouragement to Sadie and I. We owe our success for this past weekend to you. I really didn't have high expectations going into the weekend. I was very tentative about even entering the show. I had always thought when we started Abbey and Sadie in agility that we just would take the classes for fun, but never do a show. I didn't think we would get that serious about agility training. And when we didn't have the best experience with the AKC show in February, I really didn't think we would do any more shows. But because of your encouragement, I entered the NADAC show in August, and then decided to go ahead and try this AKC show at McKinney again this past weekend. And what a great weekend Sadie had! Now I think I could become addicted too. I love doing agility with the dogs. It is so much FUN! If I can just overcome my jitters at the shows, then I think they will be more fun too. But Sadie's success this weekend and all of your encouragement and teaching have really gotten me more excited than ever about agility. We have been so much happier training with you since June. I feel like we have made so much more progress since June than we did all of last year. You are such a super teacher and we appreciate everything you have done for us. We are very glad that we ran into Virgie and that she told us about you and PAWS! Thank you so much!

Lady and I wanted to thank you for introducing us to the wonderful world of agility. We have both come such a long way and this class was a great experience for both of us. We really appreciate all the direction, advice and most of all the encouragement that you have given us. You really are the best. You have made me realize that there is so much that Lady can do. You have no idea how much fun we had. Thank you again for all your help!

I live in the neighborhood near your home. I am sending this just to say how much I appreciate seeing folks out there working their dogs. I drive by frequently, and especially the evenings are so busy with everyone having fun with their K-9 friends.
I assisted a dog obedience group several years ago in Duncanville . Since that time I always have such joy when seeing others get involved with the dogs.
Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to tell you that I really got a lot out of the class last night, and thanks for all of your hard work to make the classes so worthwhile.
I overheard a couple of people talking about what good handling skills they are learning at PAWS, and I always like to pass on good words.

Thanks so much for sharing your time, knowledge, and experience with us. You are the largest part of our success this weekend. We truly appreciate your guidance and your friendship.

I appreciate your balance of competitiveness with "having fun" with our dogs. Will and I truly enjoy agility and your class!! Thanks again.

You've taught me so much more than agility; and you've been so much more than just a teacher -- how blessed I am, and how grateful. Thank you!

I also want to remind you of what a wonderful service you are doing for all your clients (dogs and people) by running this school. While your students are very successful in competition, and that is GREAT, you are allowing people to build a better working relationship with their dogs on a day-to-day basis. This makes life better for everyone, including the public non-dog owner. It has been a great venue for me to socialize and expose my dog to other situations, in a controlled environment. THANKS. . .THANKS. . .THANKS.

Casey and I wanted to thank you for introducing us to the wonderful world of agility. The past year has been a great learning experience for both of us. We really appreciate all the times you have helped us, listened to us, and most of all, given us your advice and direction. We are looking forward to another fun year. Thank you again for all your help!

(After an e-mail to the PAWS list about a particularly good run Tristan had at a trial.)
Excitement about your success is compounded by the techniques by which you achieved this with Tristan. I think you are "pioneering" a whole application of teaching-learning methodology that is not only going to make better performances but for a lot more fun for dog and handler.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful training and support. Brady is now a totally different pup. We are looking forward to a lot more training.”

I really appreciate all the time you spent with me and the advice you gave me this weekend at my first USDAA trial. I have really enjoyed watching you run with your dogs, and I look forward to seeing you at future trials.

In case I never told you, agility for me went far beyond teaching my dogs to run a course. I think it made me a better pet owner and certainly built a better, closer bond. I thoroughly enjoy being with “doggie” people.
