About PAWS Obedience Classes

  • Do you have a dog or puppy that needs socialization, basic obedience, and manners?

  • Do you want to learn how to train your dog using positive, motivational, and fun techniques?

  • Would you like to build a better relationship with your dog?

  • Have you heard and want to learn about clicker training?
  • Do you want to train your dog to do agility?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should try a PAWS Clicker Obedience Class. The class is geared toward the novice trainer and/or beginner dog. It can even work for a crossover dog (one that was trained using other methods).

We'll teach you how to use a clicker and then how to apply that knowledge to dog training in general. The class is not intended to have you ready for obedience competition, but it will provide the groundwork for whatever you want to do with your dog, whether it's obedience, agility, or just to have a well-behaved pet. Each session lasts approximately one hour.

To take the class, your dog must be at least 3 months old and be vaccinated against rabies. Dogs in season are not allowed on the premises.

PAWS Obedience must be completed prior to taking the Beginners Agility Class.
